Update 4.14.20

Good afternoon! We had our faculty meeting yesterday, and I feel like I have a much better grasp of what to do and how to post assignments, etc.

I have been in contact with a couple of students through TEAMS, which is in the students' Office 360 account. I feel like using TEAMS is the easiest way to keep things individualized for each student.

Directions how to get to TEAMS:

* from the email page, in the upper left corner next to the word "Outlook" is the 3x3 grid.

* click on the grid and then click on TEAMS

*scroll down until you see the D/HH team, click on it.

*then, find your initials. You will have your own folder. Click on the folder and you will see at least 3 more folders labeled Vocabulary, Language, Math, (Science and Social Studies for some students).

*Click on a folder, and you will see assignments. REMEMBER, all assignments are OPTIONAL.

Office hours:
My computer is always easily accessible, so if you need to contact me please feel free to do that at any time, and I can probably get back to you almost immediately.

However, I will have a dedicated time on Monday mornings from 10:00-11:30 for real time dialogue, if necessary.

Also please remember:

Under USEFUL LINKS, on the left side banner on this screen, I have posted many websites and resources that you will find beneficial during this time. Please take advantage of the resources that are available to you.

We will get through this together!!

Update 4.13.20

Good morning! Today is a teacher work day, and I am working to figure out a way to get meaningful assignments out in a clear and organized manner. Again, remember these assignments are optional.

Update 4.1.20

Hey guys!!!
Here we are in the middle of Week 3. I hope you are doing well and that you and your family are safe. Hopefully you've been able to keep yourselves busy, too. This is a great time to explore topics we wouldn't normally be able to get to in school.

On the left side of this page you will find "Useful Links". Click on that link and I have listed several different webpages you can use for different activities. Remember that everything is optional and won't be graded. But it is always good to keep your brain working.

I miss you all! You can email me any time.

Take care of yourself and each other!!!!
Mrs. Dutton

Update: 3.26.20

While these are certainly unprecedented times, there are still ways to continue learning while at home. The responsibility now shifts to the students to make their education their own.

The district stated that we are not allowed to present new information, so any resources will review previously learned objectives. Also, this work is completely optional; it will not be graded.
