Movement group is an exercise based small group that will utilize physical activity to help equip students with calm feelings and endorphins. Movement can reduce nervous tension and anxiety in muscles as well as release endorphins to help improve mood and energy levels.

Some examples of our activities are: deep breathing, resistance band work, body weight work, large muscle movements, and stretching.

The group will be facilitated by school counselors: Christina Bevilacqua, Taija Harris, and Erin McKibben.

Open to all students during advisory (8:30am-9:00am) every Thursday in the Lecture Hall.

Academic Group:
The academic group is designed for students who struggle with:

Turning in or completing assignments
Keeping track of work

And as a result have received F's on their report card for a core class. This group is coordinated by every school counselor and organized by alpha. Students who qualify will be invited to participate and given more information.
