Students are encouraged to get involved by participating in one of the many athletic programs offered at Benton Middle School.

Sports Offered

Review the sports offered during each season below. Contact the head coach for a specific sport or the Athletic Coordinator if you have questions.

Student-athletes must complete all participation requirements before participating in tryouts or practices.

Requirements for Participation

Student-athletes must meet all eligibility requirements and all student-athlete participation requirements listed below before any form of participation in athletic activities, including tryouts or practice.

Students must:

• Have a completed online student-athlete registration for the 2026-27 school year in Arbiter.
• Have completed Student-Athlete education (part of the online athletic registration process in Arbiter).
• Have a current sports physical (PWCS Middle School Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Evaluation Form) signed by parent/guardian and physician and submitted through the online athletic registration process.
• Maintain eligibility requirements set forth in the PWCS Middle School Eligibility and Participation Guidelines.

Important Information:

• Students are not permitted to walk home after tryouts, practice or a game.
• Parents must pick their child up after tryouts and practice by 5:20p.m.; after a game by 6:30p.m.
• Games run from approximately 5:00 to 6:30ish.
• All tryouts and practices are closed. Only student-athletes, coaches, & school staff may attend.

Before completing the online athletic registration, students and families should review the PWCS Middle School Eligibility and Participation Guidelines. PWCS students must adhere to the eligibility and participation requirements outlined in these guidelines to participate in middle school athletic activities.

There is a no bag policy for game attendees. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to keep our schools safe.
