These are also publicized on our morning announcements and during lunch on the large TV near the lunch lines. An activity bus is provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

GOAL:
The goal of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in ALL areas of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character.
MEMBERSHIP:
NJHS applications are offered to all rising 8th grade students who meet the GPA requirement (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0) at the end of the third quarter of their 7th grade school year. Students who meet the GPA requirement will be provided with the NJHS application. Students must submit a complete application, which will then be reviewed by a faculty committee. Application does not guarantee acceptance and membership. Students who are accepted for NJHS membership will be inducted in a ceremony held in the spring.
