What is ParentVUE?

ParentVUE is a tool that allows parents and guardians access to their students' grades, attendance information, and more. Parents and guardians can submit updates to contact information, check attendance, and submit course requests during scheduling windows in ParentVUE

How do I get a ParentVUE account?

Parents must apply for a ParentVUE account using an activation code that is sent via email to their email account on record with the school. When creating the account, parents will choose their own username and password and can manage this password using the More Options/Forgot Password from the ParentVUE login page.

How do I access ParentVUE?

ParentVUE can be accessed via a web browser or via an app for your phone or tablet available in the App Store and Google Play.

Who can I contact for help or support?

• If you are trying to create your account and cannot locate your activation code and need assistance with obtaining a new one, please contact your school.
• If you have an account already but have forgotten your password, you can create a new one by clicking on More Options/Forgot Password from the ParentVUE login page.

StudentVUE Information:

StudentVUE gives students access to bus and class schedules, grades, attendance information, and more.

Students can access their StudentVUE account on their Student iPad through single sign-on using their Microsoft 365 username and password credentials. If you have forgotten your password or have issues with login, please contact your school's ITC.

All information is available in both StudentVUE and ParentVUE.

StudentVUE is a website that offers secure, private access to school and student information, including assignments, grades, attendance, school calendar, and teacher contact details.

Log In

1. Go to StudentVUE or enter the StudentVUE URL studentvue.pwcs.edu in your web browser; or open the iPad app.
2. Enter your Microsoft 365 username and password and select Login.

Viewing Grades in the ParentVUE and StudentVUE App for Secondary Schools

The easiest way to view grades and assignments is via the web application version: ParentVUE or StudentVUE.

When using the ParentVUE/StudentVUE app, users must select the appropriate marking period and class category to view grades and assignments for the associated classes. A parent would need to select each marking period and class category to view all student grade details. It's important to note that this step is not required when accessing grades from the website.

To view Student Grades

1. Log in to the ParentVUE/StudentVUE app.
2. Select desired student.
3. Select "Grade Book."
4. Select the drop-down option to view marking periods and class categories. 
5. A student's classes are sorted into class categories (category abbreviations are defined in the table below). Based on the student's class schedule, select the current marking period and a class category to view grades and assignments for the associated classes. Only classes in the selected category will display, along with the overall grades.
   • For example, Social Studies and Language Arts are year-long classes. To view these classes for the first marking period, select MS YR Marking Period 1, or Middle School Year-long Marking Period 1.
   •  Reminder: this additional category selection is not required when accessing from the web application.

6. To view class assignments, select the class name. 
7. Select "Grade Book" (upper left) to go back to the list of classes in the selected category.
8. To view classes in a different category, select another class category/marking period.

Note: Not all marking period sets will display student classes. For example, if the student was not scheduled into any MS SEM Marking Period 1 classes, none display.
