Benton Middle Math Practice Summer Packets

We are excited to help our students close the summer learning gap (10 weeks) and strengthen their math skills before the start of the new school year. To support continued learning throughout the summer, each student will be bringing home a 'Summer Math Practice Packet'.

The packet contains important review activities designed to reinforce key math concepts and help students maintain their academic progress. We encourage students to work on the packet regularly throughout the summer.

To provide additional support, optional Zoom Math help sessions will be available on Tuesdays.

In addition to the packets being given to students, extra paper copies are available in our front office (8AM-4PM) and the printable packets are available in a digital format in the table.

Please note that during the second week of the 2026/27 school year, students will complete a formative task based on the content covered in the 'Summer Math Practice' Packet. This assessment will help teachers identify strengths and areas where students may need additional support as we begin the school year. The packet will be reviewed in class prior to the formative grade.
